Terms and Conditions
Last updated: January 2025
These terms govern the use of mycarpartskenya.co.ke and all purchases of goods from MyCarParts Kenya ("we", "us", "our") at Weru wa Tetu Building, Lower Kirinyaga Road, Nairobi, Kenya.
01Use of the website
By browsing this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.
Product information, prices and availability are updated regularly but may occasionally be wrong. We reserve the right to correct errors and to confirm any order by phone or WhatsApp before dispatch, at no cost to you.
02Orders and confirmation
An order is not confirmed until our team verifies stock and fitment and confirms with you on WhatsApp, phone or in person. This verification step protects you from wrong-part purchases and is the heart of how we work.
We may decline an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, where fitment cannot be verified, or where stock is unavailable and you have not agreed to wait for sourcing.
03Prices and payment
All prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are quoted at checkout or before payment and are never added silently.
We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer and (Nairobi only) cash on delivery. M-Pesa payments should only be made after our team has confirmed the order on WhatsApp. We never ask for payment to unknown paybill or merchant numbers — confirm every number with us on our official line 0717 031 980.
04Warranties
Warranty terms are stated per product on its page (typically 3–12 months for new parts, 3–6 months for ex-Japan units) and on your receipt. Warranties cover manufacturing defects and documented faults; they do not cover damage from misuse, accidents, sub-standard related parts, or unverified fitment.
Warranty claims are processed within 5 working days of receiving the faulty item with your order reference.
05Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the price paid for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of vehicle use, unless such loss results from our gross negligence.
06General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall first be referred to negotiation, then to the small claims court or courts of Nairobi as appropriate.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the current one.
